Description

A desk-based assessment of a proposed development site found that no pre-medieval remains had previously been recorded in the immediate vicinity. The development site lay close to the centre of the medieval town of Rothwell, and the study concluded that there was potential for late medieval or early post-medieval activity within the proposal area.
