Description

The intensive watching brief found no remains or artefacts of the medieval period or earlier. Recent timber revetments probably designed to prevent erosion and divert water into the mill stream channel were recorded. Further down the Nene, the widening and cleaning out of the stream exposed part of the remains of the former old Kingsthorpe north mill.
