Description

{1} During the watching brief very few pre-modern deposits or features were uncovered. A small fragment of walling, of possible medieval date, was encountered in the central part of the development, and an undated ditch was located in the south-west. Very few artefacts were recovered, mainly consisting of small fragments of early medieval pottery.
