Description

{1} Further trial trenching and geophysical survey was undertaken by Northamptonshire Archaeology in 1999 on the line of a proposed new road. A sub circular ring ditch, previously known only from air photographs, was found. It was interpreted as a ring ditch surrounding a ploughed-out round barrow
