Description
{1} Archaeological observation undertaken as part of the Salcey to Deanshanger water mains duplication within the Scheduled Monument of Moor End Castle. No features of medieval date were present within the pipeline working strip but a modern dump of material uncovered at the south-west end of the trench could have been introduced previously to infill a small pond beside the moat.
