Description

{1} Contractors trenches examined in Spring Gardens showed road surfaces up to a depth of 1.1m. Beneath the road surfaces was a build-up of garden soil from which three sherds of Roman pottery and a one sherd of medieval pottery was found. Natural was revealed at 2.9m.
