Description

In 1968 quarrying operations revealed a number of late Iron Age features which were excavated by Mr Lyall of Kettering Museum. Iron Age features continued to be exposed in 1970 and further excavation was carried out. Much of the area had been disturbed by the heavy machinery used on site, although three ditches were recorded.
