Description

{1} Archaeological evaluation undertaken in the former kitchen garden in advance of the proposed resiting of the Ford Pavilion. Two trenches were excavated in the northern part of the 19th-century kitchen garden either side of a former path. No evidence of any activity earlier than that of the 19th and 20th centuries was present. Four residual sherds of Saxon and medieval pottery were found.
