Full Description
The Old Kings Arms Inn, Market Street
The structure is still standing, but is now in use by a carpet shop. The insertion of the shop frontage has entirely destroyed the integrity of the building although the architectural detailing of the top floor remains. Film 1, photo 18. (1)
{2} The Kings Arms shown as existing in 1771 in G Foard's survey. The boundaries of the building are larger at this earlier date.
