Full Description

{1} There were windmills on at least two separate sites in the township, one possibly being a replacement for the other. The second and later mill stood to the south of the town in Windmill Close in the 18th and early 19th centuries. It is shown on Eayre's map and was still standing in 1782 and 1827 but had gone by the 1880s.
