{3} Photograph of the roof apex of 7 High Street. Thought likely to be 16th century. The use of the saddle on a tie-beamed roof truss possibly indicates the change from crucks to the standard seventeenth century vernacular truss which has the principal rafters crossing at the top to house a ridge piece.
