Summary
A house situated on the western side of Northfield Lane that was built in 1832 as a pair of houses. The house was altered and extended during the mid 19th century to one dwelling. The building is constructed of coursed limestone with a Collyweston slate roof and is three stories high with a stone raised band between the floors. The south facing frontage has a two window range of casements flanking an entrance porch. A datestone has the inscription JM/1832.

Full Description
Pair of houses, now one dwelling. Datestone JM/1832 and mid C19. Squared coursed limestone with Collyweston slate roof. Originally each one-unit plans with mid C19 lean-to extension to rear. 3 storeys. 2-window range of C19 casements under shallow stone arches. Central C20 porch has 4-panel, part-glazed door under shallow stone arch and blocked doorway to right. Raised band between ground and first floor. Brick stacks at ends. 2 storey lean-to extension to rear. Interior not inspected. (RCHM: A Inventory of Architectural Monuments in North Northamptonshire: p129)
