Summary
A 17th century house located on the northern side of Woodnewton Road constructed of coursed rubble with a thatch roof. The building has a parapet on the western gable and a central brick ridge chimney stack. The road front has an eyebrow dormer above a door with two, three light stone mullioned windows to the right.

Full Description
House. Early C18. Squared coursed limestone with thatch and corrugated asbestos roof. Originally 3-unit plan. Single storey with attic. Irregular 2-window range of casement windows under wood lintels; one lintel has been renewed. Similar casement under central eaves dormer. C20 door under renewed wood lintel, to left. Ashlar gable parapets, to left, and brick and ashlar stack at ridge. Left gable has 2 casement windows. C20 lean-to extension, to rear, has corrugated asbestos roof. Interior not i spected but noted as having an open fireplace with bressumer and salt cupboard. (RCHM: An Inventory of Architectural Monuments in North Northamptonshire: p129)

The road front has an eyebrow dormer above a door with two, three light stone mullioned windows to the right. The building is Listed at Grade II. There are minor date discrepancies between the construction date listed within the building file and the date given on the List Description.
