Summary
A late 18th to early 19th century farmhouse located on the southern side of Church Street. The building is built of squared coursed limestone lias with a Collyweston slate roof and brick ridge and gable chimney stacks. It is two stories high with an attic range lit by a pair of hipped roof dormers. The street frontage has a four window range of sash and casement windows above two canted bay windows. The right gable has a reset two light stone mullioned window which has been blocked. The house has had mid 19th century additions.

Full Description
Farmhouse, now house. Late C18/early C19 with mid C19 additions. Squared coursed limestone lias and brick with Collyweston slate roof. Originally 2-unit plan with entrance hall, now 3 units. 2 storeys with attic. Main front is a 4-window range of alternate C19 casement and sash windows, at first floor, under wood lintels. 2 canted bay windows to ground floor have C19 casements and slate roofs. C20 bow window to far left. 6-panel door, under wood lintel, to right of centre. Pair of hipped roof do mers with C19 casement windows. Brick stacks at ridge and end. Right gable has reset C17, 2-light stone mullion window, now blocked. Bay to far left, probably added mid C19, has a brick gable end. Interior not inspected but room to left of entrance noted as having an open fireplace and spine beams. (RCHM: An Inventory of Architectural Monuments in North Northamptonshire: p127)
