Summary

A 17th century house with 19th century alterations and a 20th century extension to the rear located on the western side of Station Road. The building is constructed from coursed limestone with a Welsh and artificial slate roof with brick gable chimney stacks. The building is single story with an attic that is lit by a central catslide dormer window. The street frontage has two casement windows each side of a central door.

Full Description

House. Early C17, C19 and C20. Squared coursed limestone with Welsh and artificial slate roofs. 2-unit plan. Single storey with attic. 2-window range, of C19 casements, under wood lintels. Central Lincolnshire eaves dormer also has C19 casement window. Central plank door, with glazed panel, under wood lintel. Beam ends visible above lintels. Brick and stone stacks at ends. C19 lean-to attached to left gable has artificial slate roof. C20 extension to rear. Interior not inspected but noted as hav ng an open fireplace with bressumer. Included for group value.
