Summary

A 17th to early 18th century house with 19th and 20th century alterations located on the eastern side of Station Road. The building is constructed of coursed limestone with a thatch and asbestos roof with a large brick central ridge chimney stack. The building is single story with an attic that is lit by two eyebrow dormer windows. Doors are situated on the far left and right of the street frontage with two, three light casement windows between.

Full Description

House. Late C17/early C18 and C20. Squared coursed limestone with thatch and corrugated asbestos roofs. Left gable is squared coursed and banded limestone. Originally 2-unit plan. Single storey with attic. 2 bays with irregular 3-window range of casement windows under wood lintels. Window to left has low cill. Plank doors to far left and right, under wood lintels. Door, to right, has glazed panels. 2 eyebrow dormers with casement windows. Ashlar gable parapet, to right, and brick stack at ridge. Left gable has casement window to attic under wood lintel. Eyebrow dormer, to rear, also lean-to extensions with corrugated asbestos roof. Interior not inspected but probably has open fireplace, now blocked.
