Summary

A post medieval barn located ten metres east of Parks Farmhouse. The barn was probably built during the mid to late 18th century of squared coursed limestone with a double pitch Collyweston slate roof. The entrance facade has a central wagon entrance beneath a wooden lintel that is flanked by two loft doors. Under the loft doors are a pair of triangular ventilation holes. Just beneath the eaves is a row of 29 pigeon holes above a protruding stone perch.

Full Description

{1} Barn. Probably mid/late C18. Squared coursed limestone with Collyweston slate roof. Single-unit barn with central cart entrance, under wood lintel. Flanking triangular ventilation slits. Pigeon holes below eaves. Interior not inspected but noted as having some original roof timbers. Included for group value.
