Full Description

{1} Packhorse bridge. C17 perhaps with earlier origins, restored and parapet much rebuilt C19 and C20. {1} Dressed ironstone. Two pointed arches, central pier with large cutwater to upstream side, stone tiled buttress to downstream side. String coursed below parapets (much renewed), that on downstream side inscribed TH 1740 and WA 1722, graffiti or repair dates; string missing over left arch on upstream side.

{9} A beautiful little structure of local sandstone. Two painted arches supported by three ribs chamfered on both sides. Cutwater on upstream side forming roadway shelter; low buttress on downstream side. Solid stone parapets with plain coping on one side, rolled moulding on other side. 11ft 9” wide. Probably C14.

{12} Not outstanding, see photograph. (Owing to water depth and overhanging trees a profile photograph was not possible). Situated at SP 5996 5735, the visible stonework is prob E 18c with later restoration.

{13} [Former list description] Probably 17/18th. Century rebuilt, stone. Grade III (32/9).
