Full Description

{1} House. Mid C18. Datestone 1851 refers to remodelling for William Mackworth-Dolben. Regular coursed ironstone with slate roof. 3-unit plan. Single storey with attic. 3-window range of single-, 2- and 3-light stone-mullion windows. Chained pane leaded lights. First floor windows are dormers with stone gables above. Central C19 porch has C19 door in central arch head windows. Ashlar gable parapets and kneelers and brick and stone stacks at ridge and end. Blank shield to centre gable. Datestone on extension linked by wall to main house. Interior not inspected.
