Full Description

{1} Communal wash-house and outhouses, now part dwelling. 1860-64 for Lady Overstone. Regular coursed lias with brick dressings and slate roof. Originally single-unit wash-house. Single storey with loft. Gable to road of 2-window range of 2-light wood mullioned windows with cast-iron lozenge glazing bars under flat brick arches with brick dressings. Central C19 part-glazed door with similar surround. Slit window in apex and plain bargeboards. Attached outbuildings have C19 plank doors with brick dressings. Brick stack at ridge. Interior not inspected. Included for group value.
