Full Description

{1}The 1526 survey of Daventry recorded a cross in the street at the eastern end of the town. It stood at the junction next to St Augustine’s well and close to the cottages owned by the priory on the corner of Nobold Lane (Lodge Road) which became the Welton Weye.
