Monument record 2040/0/9 - Iron Age ditched enclosure (Morphed Aerial Archaeology Interpretation)

{2} A single linear feature, aligned east to west, has been identified as a ditch. A ditch bounding a group of enclosures in area 6E is on the same alignment and may be a continuation of the same feature.

{3} Linear, curvilinear and circular positive anomalies have been located, forming a pattern of likely ditched features. Several possible roundhouse gullies can be interpreted, along with ditched enclosures.

{4} Two large intercutting ditches were excavated in the evaluation which appear to correlate with the data from the geophysical survey and suggest that the enclosure had more than one phase.
