Description

{1} The geophysical survey detected a series of Iron Age/ Roman enclosures and associated field systems as well as more ambiguous but probably medieval anomalies and widespread ridge and furrow traces. The settlement evidence and field systems appear to be a continuation of the archaeological remains found during the Clay Lane excavations.
