Monument record 1953/0/1 - Probable later Iron Age Enclosure

A rectilinear enclosure with internal divisions. Dated by trial trench to the later Iron Age

{2} Cropmarks; trapezoidal enclosure with internal division; SP902761 (grid ref may be wrong)

{4} At the northern limit of the site the geophysical survey identified a series of linear anomalies creating a rectangular enclosure with a number of internal divisions (in Trench 32). A small amount of later Iron Age pottery was found in one of the ditch fills.
