Title A14 Junction 10, Kettering, Northamptonshire. Geophysical Survey Report
Author/Originator
Date/Year 2015

Abstract/Summary

A magnetometry survey was undertaken. It identified two areas of probable Iron Age/Roman settlement activity, along with several other enclosures. A number of other possible anomalies may also relate to settlement activity. A series of field boundaries, areas of ridge and furrow, and modern ploughing suggest that the area has been used for agricultural activity since the medieval period. A number of modern anomalies relating to the former quarrying on the site were also identified. [no report in HER, so survey area is approximate]
