Full Description

{2} A broad hollow way up to 1.5m runs from the sharp bend in Church Lane. Ridge and furrow edges this hollow way over most of its length except at its south east end where there are at least three small closes. These may once have contained houses but the area was already devoid of buildings in 1726. On the south west side of Spring Lane ia an area of disturbed earthworks comprising low banks, scarps and shallow ditches which, though partly quarried into, probably represent an area of former settlement though again any houses had gone by 1726.
