Full Description
{2} The position of the quarry edge was defined to the north of the enclosure.
{3} A fieldname map of 1932 shows "Road Close" as being renamed "Gravel Pit Close", suggesting that the quarry located therein may not be of such antiquity as had previously been supposed.
