Full Description

{1} EWKS; VARIOUS BANKS & DITCHES DEFINING CLOSES & AVENUES & ROADS. EWKS TO W OF CHURCH MAY INCLUDE HOLLOW WAY & OTHER FEATURES.

{2} NCCAP: SP6160/020.

{3} Only to the west of the church and the north of the manor house do earthworks survive. Here a shallow hollow way, which perhaps once extended south as far as the Northampton to Daventry road, runs north down the valley side to meet the east-west running village street. Slight banks on either side may have been former closes.
