Monument record 503/0/1 - Possible Medieval Moat

Possible moated site identified from aerial photographs. Medieval pottery recovered.

{1} (SP635800) An AP shows a double ring ditched rectangular enclosure, Medieval pottery recovered. It may be a Medieval moated site .

{2} Information from D.Hall. Very poorly defined feature. Two sides of a possible rectangular double-ditched enclosure. Probably not a moat. SP635800.

{4} Enclosure south-west of the village, possibly a double-ditched enclosure. It is not clear, and may be a random effect incorporating the cropmarks of ridge and furrow. [RCHME describes feature as prehistoric].
