Full Description
{1} Brickworks adjacent to canal; the works made bricks for the construction of the canal.
{2} Between 1841 and 1900 a succession of the Boswell family ran the brickworks in Braunston (this included a Mrs Hannah Boswell) except that in 1849 they are not entered. In this year both Samuel Howard and J Leeson made bricks here the former tiles also. The Boswell's yard was just north of the canal, between that and the village.
