Summary
The Northampton and Market Harborough Branch Railway was built by the LNWR, authorised in 1853 and opening in 1859. It was closed to passenger traffic in 1960.

Full Description
{1} The line was closed to rail traffic in 1981 and is now open to pedestrians and cycles as part of the linear park (The Brampton Valley Way).
