Full Description

{1} The bases of the furrows of the field system survived as shallow linear hollows typically 1.5-2m wide by up to 0.2m deep. At the E they were spaced 8.5-9m apart centre to centre. On the hill slope (W) the interval increased to 10-11m. The furrows were aligned ENE-WSW and ran near parallel to the eastern part of the trench and at an oblique angle to the slope.
