Full Description
{1} Trench 10 contained a ditch aligned north east to south west, 3.1m wide by 0.34m deep with a wide U-shaped profile and flattish base. This trench also contained a possible ditch terminal, 0.5m wide by 0.08m deep with a shallow, flat based profile. The ditches revealed probably form part of a series of Iron Age/Romano-British field systems identified from cropmarks to the east and west of the proposed road corridor.
