Full Description
{1} Trenches 7 and 8 were excavated to investigate the junction of several anomalies identified by geophysical survey that could be pits. These were identified within the trenches, but remained unexcavated due to ground water.
{2} Other Phase 4 (C3rd-C4th) features included areas of pitting, two wells, one of which was lined with limestone blocks, and a number of small to medium-sized postholes, some forming lines indicative of a building or fence line.
