Full Description
{1} Traces of former ridge and furrow cultivation were apparent in addition to more ancient features. This cultivation runs from north to south.
{2} A series of shallow furrows aligned from north to south, which defined the extent of the former ridge and furrow field system. The use of this field system is probably contemporary with the life of the deserted settlement located to the west of Upton Mill Lane.
