Full Description

{1} Field 9 is a garden now, but low ridge and furrow aligned south-west to north-east is visible. Field 10 has some low but distinct ridge and furrow on the same alignment.
No significant archaeological remains were detected by the walkover survey. While ridge and furrow survives in several fields it has all been ploughed to some extent and is only poorly preserved. The best surviving example in Field 3 represents only a small part largely lost or disturbed in recent raod and building developments.

{3} A series of wideley spaced curvilinear responses have been identified in the north west of area 1 and are indicative of ridge and furrow cultivation.
