Full Description

{1} Field 1 produced a very low artefact distribution, with only 3 medieval sherds and a fragment of 17th century pottery. A number of post medieval artefacts (pottery and clay pipe, with some brick and tile) were noted across the field but not retrieved.
This pottery shows a low, dispersed distribution and probably reflects a plough/ manure spread.
