Abstract/Summary

A Fieldwalking survey was carried out in advance of development, on land south-east of Kislingbury, adjacent to the M1 Motorway. A geophysical survey, carried out in 1998 on the proposed development area, identified an Iron Age/Romano British settlement. The fieldwalking results confimed the location of the settlemnt with a high concentration of pottery of the Romano-British Period.
