Monument record 6700/0/1 - Possible Hollow way, north-east of Collyweston Great Wood

Cropmarks of two sections of a probable later prehistoric or Iron Age trackway seento the NE of Collyweston Great Wood and curving around the NW of Vigo Wood. These were mapped from aerial photographs as part of the Rutland Roman Villa Project.

{2-3} Cropmarks of two sections of a probable later prehistoric or Iron Age trackway mapped from aerial photographs as part of the Rutland Roman Villa Project. One section to the NE of Collyweston Great Wood aligned NNW-SSE extended 190m and comprised two parallel ditches set 12.5m apart and traces of a third parallel inner ditch and fragments of two perpendicular ditches of associated field boundaries. The second stretch of track lies 230m to the north and extends NE for 275m around the NW of Vigo Wood.
