Summary

Cropmarks of ditches and enclosures identified on aerial photographs either side of the LNWR Banbury Branch railway. Possibly associated with the filling factory to the west, although there is no evidence on the 1922 Ordnance Survey Map.

Full Description

{1} These earthworks almost certainly form part of an extensive Ministry of Munitions Factory 1916-24; subsequently the site of a Munitions Breaking Down Factory and later a bombing range (site 7112/1, 1km to the north west)
