Full Description

{1} One paleochannel was also seen here which appeared to run southwards from a meander in the course of the tributary. It was not visible on the surface but appeared as a feature in section, filled with grey and black silts, which appeared to be partly organic. There was only time for a cursory examination of this feature, and no finds were retrieved from it.
