Full Description
{2} Trench 2 contained a shallow linear gully, 300mm wide and 200mm deep, running north west to south east. It had a rounded profile and its fill contained occasional small limestone fragments. A few small fragments of animal bone and a number of snail shells were present but there were no other finds. Further east was another linear feature running north-west to south-east, 350mm wide and up to 250mm deep. Its fill contained limestone flecks but no dating evidence.
Trench 5 contained another undated gully, of similar proportions with no dating evidence.
