Full Description

{1} A pair of bullock yards with rear stone walls. Both yards covered by a modern steel framed structure with a profiled metal roof. The rear stone wall is a retaining wall for the bank behind. Probaly the site of nineteenth century bullock yards.

{2} The walls were built directly onto the clay and ironstone natural at a depth of 0.65m in trial pit 11 and 0.45m in trial pit 12. Trial pit 14 exposed a two step footing 0.20m deep.
