Full Description
{1} A broad gravel bank was seen in the south west arm of the trench. The purpose of the bank is not clear, a defensive role seems unlikely as the material is structurally unstable. 4 post holes were also seen but they could not be interpreted as structural as no pattern could be discerned.
{2} The gravel was imported for drainage for the buildings.
