Abstract/Summary

An evaluation of The Mount, Alderton was undertaken by Channel Four's Time Team in July 2000. Following on from the excavation Northamptonshire Archaeology were commissioned to consolidate the finds archive and co-ordinate any specialist reports that might be required. Consolidating the archive encompassed all preliminary post-excavation tasks, including washing, sorting, marking, bagging, boxing, and listing. All these tasks have been completed and fulfil the requirements for deposition into Northamptonshire Museums. An extra copy of the box contents sheets has been provided for inclusion into the documentary archive.
