Summary

[HER note15/11/2012: GIS mapping taken from RFP data, combining medieval and post medieval land use with D.Hall's settlement earthworks data. The possible settlement of Walcott, centred on Weekley Mill has been removed from this mapping and assigned to HER 3905.]

Full Description

{1} earthwork; medieval hollow way;14m wide x 2m deep;running from sp889809to sp891816 for c.600m undoubtedly to original main road the course of which was changed in the reign of Charles I; just north of the church it forms the east side of a massive earthwork.
