Full Description

{1} A 1940s prefabricated "HORSA" (Ministry of Works Standard 24 hut) building. The basic structure remains largey as built although the windows have been replaced and few internal fixtures or fititngs remain. The construction method recorded was as described by the Ministry of Works, however the dimensions of the building and some use of materials suggest that the building was not strictly a type 23 hut but rather a later and modified form. Building survey, history, drawings and photos.
