Full Description

{1} The Ice House is an egg-shaped, earth-domed structure. Initial conclusions are that it is approx 200 years old and located to take advantage of the ice from the adjacent lake, which would appear to date from the same period. Structurally the ice house appears sound and in no immediate need of repair, although some earlier repairs have been undertaken unsympathetically and somewhat disfigure the building.
