Full Description

{1} The auxiliary buildings associated with the farm consist of three cattle shelters, one of which has been adapted into a stable, a cart shed, pigsties, a smithy, a Dutch barn and a workshop. Of all these buildings, the cart shed and smithy appear to be the oldest structures alongside the farm and barn. The earliest of these buildings was constructed between c.1799-1838 out of limestone and ironstone. The newer buildings are constructed of brick, during the Victorian period.
Detailed record of buildings, plans and photos.

{2} A level 3 building recording was carried out ahead of proposed development of the farm buildings.
