Abstract/Summary

The main emphasis of the survey was to try and establish the morphology of the farmhouse and barn. The subsequent investigation has highlighted the possibility that the original farmhouse and barn may be older than first thought and that the listing dates early 18th/19th centuries may be slightly off. The survey has also suggested that there were possibly two major expansion periods that may have been influenced by market and technological forces.
